Job brief

The role combines legal and financial managing assistance to the company Partners and third parties. As these areas evolve, the role will evolve too, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable with high levels of dynamism and change. 

On the financial function, the role will require competence in bookkeeping and a pragmatic approach to uncertainty. An accounting background is preferred, though practical experience would be equally valued. For the legal side, experience in drafting or reviewing contracts and agreements (either in English or Spanish) will be ideal. 

Needless to say, attention to detail is paramount.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Senior Administrative Associate include:

  • Contribute to the creation and standardisation of company agreements.
  • Maintain documents currents, and identify the need of additional agreements
  • Contribute to the creation of internal policies and procedures. 
  • Act as first line of interaction with 3rd parties, maintaining good communication and ensure timely delivery of any required assignments
  • Support the standardisation and regular updating of book-keeping records
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes
  • Own the operational day to day running of the company book-keeping
  • Support the CFO and other partners in special projects
  • Collaborate with existing staff to improve the procurement function
  • Organise and structure internal company data to improve decision making.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or accounting (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven working experience (with international companies preferred).
  • Experience with startups preferred.
  • Remote working experience preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Word/Excel and/or Google Suite
  • Bilingual Spanish-English (advanced English, both written and oral required).
  • High level of numeracy, comfortable with math.

  • Good communication skills.
  • Self motivated. Ability to work independently.
  • Interest in Entrepreneurism.
